Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
Clicking on a market adds it to your bet slip. If the slip has only one selection, it is a single bet. Type the amount you want to stake in the stake box — the potential return will be calculated automatically.
Adding more than one selection creates a multi bet. The appeal of a multi bet is that all the odds are multiplied together, so the potential return can be much higher — but if even one selection loses, the entire bet is lost.
Example: if three selections have odds of 1.50, 1.60 and 1.80, the combined odds are 1.50 × 1.60 × 1.80 = 4.32 (approximately). A ৳100 stake wins you ৳432 if all three come in. If any one loses, the full ৳100 is gone.
On a betting exchange there are two options: BACK and LAY. If you BACK Team A at decimal odds of 2.00, you stake ৳1,000 — Team A wins and you profit ৳1,000; Team A does not win and you lose ৳1,000. If you LAY, you act as the bookmaker — Team A does not win and you profit ৳1,000; Team A wins and you pay out ৳1,000.
